MAIN TASKS
- Proactive acquisition of new customers and development of commercial cooperation.;
- Identifying new business opportunities for a transhipment terminal in the rail transport, port handling, and logistics sectors.;
- Preparing commercial offers, conducting negotiations and finalising cooperation agreements with clients and business partners;
- Building, developing, and maintaining long-term customer relationships and ensuring a high standard of service.;
- Preparation, review, and coordination of contractual documentation, and supervision of the correct flow of commercial documents;
- Coordination and supervision of project and contract implementation in commercial and operational areas.;
- Monitoring the quality, profitability and timeliness of services provided and implementing improvement measures.;
- Co-operation with operational, logistics, customs and administrative departments to ensure the efficient execution of orders;
- Coordination of processes related to the handling of goods subject to customs and excise procedures.;
- Conducting market analysis, competitor activity, and trends in the transport, logistics, and transhipment sector;
- Developing reports, sales forecasts, and analyses to support the Company's business development;
- Representing the company at business meetings, negotiations, and industry events.;
- Cooperating with subcontractors and hauliers, including negotiating terms of cooperation and coordinating the execution of transport and transhipment services;
- Maintaining and updating records of contracts, clients, orders, and commercial documentation in accordance with current procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in B2B sales or business development within the transport, logistics, rail, or port industry.;
- Knowledge of the domestic market that enables effective client acquisition for a transshipment terminal;
- The ability to conduct business negotiations and build lasting business relationships;
- Good work organisation, independence, and responsibility for the achievement of assigned objectives.;
- Highly developed communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.;
- Proficiency in English enabling fluent business communication with international partners;
- The ability to think analytically and prepare commercial analyses and reports;
- Welcome experience in industries related to rail transport, port transhipment (liquid and dry goods) or intermodal logistics;
- An additional asset would be to have your own client base or a developed network of business contacts in the TSL, rail, or port sector.
